Beyond the figures, a logistical problem is worsening the situation of unemployed people in Switzerland.
The deterioration of the labour market in Switzerland continued during a month marked by difficulties in rolling out the new system for processing benefits paid to unemployed people. The number of people registered with regional placement offices (ORP) rose by 3.4% in one month to 152,280, corresponding to a rate of 3.2%.
