Exposure to AI does not affect jobs uniformly, and offices are on the front line.
According to a study by consulting firm Kuble and Employés Suisse, 28% of jobs in Switzerland are highly exposed to AI. Office-based roles are directly affected, while field-based jobs are currently spared. The greatest challenge for the Swiss labor market lies not in the technology itself, but in the speed at which companies, the education system, and the workforce acquire new skills.
Administrative, management, and support professionals should therefore identify the automatable tasks in their roles now so they can reposition themselves toward higher-value activities.
