Swiss vocational education is adapting to the arrival of generative AI.
This academic year, the MEM technical sectors, which cover eight occupations ranging from mechanics to IT, used the revision of initial training programmes to integrate AI. Other tertiary sectors, including sales and commercial services, had already done so in recent years.
A unanimous conclusion is emerging: AI has a crucial and widely recognised virtue – it enhances specialised skills.
