It is difficult to know whether this reversal is sincere or calculated. But it illustrates a reality for professionals: even the creators of these technologies do not offer stable guidance on their employment consequences on which to build a career strategy.
It is better to rely on concrete sector-specific data from your own profession than on the changing statements of tech leaders, however widely publicised they may be.
