In French-speaking Switzerland, 65% of HR professionals cite recruitment as a priority, ahead of talent retention and workload, according to a survey of 150 HR professionals from the region working in industry, services, healthcare and public administration.
However, fewer than one in two respondents say that their company has a formal talent management policy, while just over half have a training catalogue for employees.
This gap between stated priorities and the tools actually available makes candidates’ task more difficult: without a clear policy, assessment criteria and career progression paths remain unclear, even in companies that are actively recruiting.
